Hi, I am installing a corrugated metal roof on a patio. I have observed several buildings that have metal roofs and the rubber washer metal screws have been installed in the valley of the roofing and also a few examples of the screws on the ridge of the panel. Which is the best method. Will installing in the valley be more prone to leaks. Thanks Michael Neese E-mail [email protected]

Most people will agree that installing in the "valley" is more prone to problems. Most manufacturers suggest screws go in the tops of the ribs or in the flats. Contact the manufacturer of your roofing for their complete instructions.
