I'm having metal put on my shingles. They screwed the metal right on the shingles. Is this right. Also, I have vents under the eaves on each end of house.I need better ventalation in the middle of roof. Can you give me suggestions. They were supposed to cut into top of roof every so many feet and then use ridge cap. Is this OK?
