I have a house that has the orginial tile roof on it and the home is almost 100 yrs old. We are thinking about replacing it with possibly a metal tile roof. The house has several levels and a steep pitch. It is in need of a new roof and we are trying to decide how to go. The tile roof gives this house all its character and we are afraid replacing with metal will ruin its looks. Any discussion about this???

Sure. If you want to stick to a tile look, there are many metal facsimile tile products available. Go to the list of manufacturers on this site and you can look up those who produce tile look products and then visit their websites.
