I know intalation costs are higher for standing seam vs other ribbed 36" metal roofing materials but on average how does the cost of metal shake, or metal tile compare to the above metal products in both materials & instalation. Thank you

As an association we are not permitted to talk about costs. I can tell you that unlike asphalt shingles, there are many differant tipes of metal roofing systems and styles, each with features and benefits. Check out the metallic substrates and the various coating systems as this typically influences the price more than anything. Higher quality does come at a cost. As to installation, this is generally more related to the configuration of the roof. Vertical sheets are easier to install on lower sloped, straight gabled roofs with no penetrations and other systems like batten mounted products are more cost effective on the steeper more complex systems.
