I'm working on the basic design for a church in Spooner, WI and am not sure of the required min. roof pitch to appropriately deal with snow loads.
The building footprint is 120' x 153'-10". Exterior walls are pre-cast, aggregate panels 18' in height. Most of the structure will have 12" overhang. Approximately 1/2 of the building will be Sanctuary and we'll want the "cathedral ceiling" feel and look.
I want to have a dramatic exterior appearance, yet be fully functional and low(er)-maint.
Any information of suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Respectfully,

There are metal roofing systems that can go down as low as 1/2" in 12" slope however they are more commercial in nature and the provide is typically bolder/higher. I would suggest going to our members page and contacting a few once yoiu choose a product and they may be able to help you in more detail.
