I had a stone coated zincalume roof installed last year, and so far it has proved both beautuful and practical. The aluminum K gutters now look very unsightly next to this great roof, and I am considering the installation of half round copper gutters. The gutters would not touch the steel roof in any way, and any rain runoff would be from the steel roof to the copper gutters.
The copper gutters would be installed against a carbon free rubber flashing to protect against any contact with incompatible white trim metal flashing underneath and be secured with neoprene washers and either siliconized bronze or 400 marine steel hardware. Do you anticipate any problems with this sort of installation?
Thanks in advance for your help.
