A few years ago, we had a painted metal roof in the shape of clay tiles on our office building. After several years the paint began to peel. Is this normal for today's tiles? Is paint adhesion part of the typical guarantee for a metal roof? There was no solution offered for our office building and we ended up replacing the metal Spanish tiles with the real thing.

Or copy this URL: https://www.metalroofing.com/spirit/comment/26325/find/Most metal roof products carry a warranty against paint peeling. Today's quality coatings will likely never peel. I am not sure if you pursued a warranty claim with the manufacturer this roof but I think you could have.
