Hi,
I am looking to improve the curb appeal of a standing seam roof on a home I just bought. I don't have much background information or experience with metal roofs and am trying to diagnose what is going on with certain areas of the roof (Is it paint chipping/wear, rust, fungus, ect...or a combination of things?) and to determine the best course of action. Pictures of the roof are below. I was hoping someone may be able to help determine if this just needs a good soft wash, or deoxidation or if this needs something more involved like a full repaint. Any advice would be appreciated!

My suggestion would be to call an experienced commercial painting contractor or metal roof restoration expert (yes, such folks exist!) who can come see this first hand. It can be challenging to get new finishes to adhere well to old coatings that are peeling or really weathered in other ways.
