We just put a new metal roof on our house and it looks damaged and awful. Installer states its oil canning and it due to the color I chose. I was not told about this when we met with the sales person, it looks terrible! The same roof is on our garage and doesn't look bad. How can this happen?

It looks to me like, if you pulled a string up the rafters, you'd see there is a hump running across the center of the roof. Going over an unflat surface will force ripples into the panels.
