I am not happy with the way my new imperial rib roof lines up so my installer agreed to remove it line it up and reinstall it. my concern is using the same sheets over again and screwing it down a second time in the same screw holes. also when the panels are shifted there will be holes left in the 30 lb felt with no screws. Is this acceptable.

To trhe best of my knowledge, the screw holes in the metal should be okay for this. If you're concerned, though, you could see if a larger screw is available and use it. As for the underlayment, I would want a new layer to be installed.
