Standing Seam 26 guage ripple prior to installation

Return to Forum

In the process of installing a standing seam striated 26 guage medal roof. Very disappointed with the visual results from a "ripple" in the panels. After reviewing many possible causes for the "ripple", we believe the issue causing the imperfection is from the manufacturer as panels show the "ripple" prior to installation. Has anyone experienced this issue?!![New 26 Guage Standing Seam Panel Ripple.New 26 Guage Standing Seam Panel Ripple.jpg

If this ripple is consistent when the panel is on a flat surface, it looks to me to be due to the shape of the metal before it was formed or perhaps due to a tight roll in the roll former
