We are having a new metal roof put on (today) and the nails are exposed. The contractor says that is how they do it. We don't see exposed nails in any other roof - or metal roof - in our area. Should we have the redo the job???

Many of the tile look metal roofs do have exposed fasteners. If you contact the manufacturer, they can verify this for the roof being installed on your home. Todd Miller

We just got our new metal roof put on yesterday, it took a week & a half, but it was well worth the wait, it looks beautiful!! We live in the Orlando, Fl area, & got ours done through Specialty Home Designs, AND THERE IS NOT A SINGLE SCREW< FASTENER< OR ANYTHING SHOWING!!!
