TOPIC: I Have An Existing Metal Roof and Have A Question

roof deck board overhanging fascia

Do you guys know how to best fix this issue? When the roofer installed our roof and new plywood deck boards, he did not trim the edges of the deck board prior to installing the metal panels. And the metal roof installer installed the roof anyway. It looks like poor workmanship. I'm afraid this is going to be a problem when we try to install gutters. Any advice would be appreciated plywood deck board problem.001.jpeg

I have to be honest. That image is confusing to my eye. Not really sure exactly what I am seeing. Would it be possible to just put a metal cover on the fascia? That probably won't help the waviness though.

Thanks Todd. I will try to get a better image. The roof deck boards are overhanging the fascia by an inch or so in some places.

Thanks. I doubt there's any way to fix this without removing the roof. I am sorry.
