I am finishing the planning stages of a modern build in the Northwest and I am looking at doing the front wall section of the house in an 18" standing seam flat panel system as a vertically oriented facade. Your thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated, and any approximate ideas for pricing would be great too. Thanks.

I have seen several projects in recent months where standing seam was used on walls. Typically, this requires a lot of planning to do it in a way that looks nice. So, I do encourage a qualified installer. Price wise, this probably is something similar to fibrous cement siding, maybe a bit more. It can provide good fire resistance as well.
