Hi I have a relativley flat roof (residencial) with a slop of 3/16 of an inch per foot, can a metal roof be installed on the roof without adding a new pitch to the roof. I had read somewhere there was a standing seam commercial product that had a 2" standing seam for this situation but haven't been able to find the info. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Larry

Generally spaeking the new building codes call for a minimum of 1/4" in 12". There are a number of commercial SS products that should be fine here as you probably do have long sheet lengths. Most of our members are steep slope manufacturers. As I do not know the area you are in I do not know exactly where to send you. I would try Centria.
