Spots on roof due to acid

My Mason used hydrocloric acid during the summer on my rock to acid wash it, he got some on the galvalume roof in causing it to stain in several areas. Will this cause my galvalume to prematurely weather or rust?

Is there anything I can do to treat those areas that would be effective? I just put the roof on 6 months ago on a new home and it just bothers me thinking it won't last as long because of this.

I would talk to the panel manufacturer first and see what they say about neutralization and re-coating.
