I just had a metal roof installed on my second storey roof and love it. The front part of my first floor has a flat roof with a parapet wall. I'd like to use the same roofing to create a 3' overhang of the same pitch attached to the outside of the parapet, but without any supporting posts. It's seems there should be a triangular metal truss I could use for this purpose (to bold to the parapet wall) but I can't find one. Is there such an animal?

These types of things are usually custom-formed by a contractor or sheet metal company so as to have the proper dimensions to meet the needs of each individual application. I am not aware of any such pre-fabricated "stock" trusses.

Dear Harrison, I was so pleased to see your question posted, as, we wish to do a 5'6" deep overhang in the same manner. What did you wind up using here? best Neil B.
