Insulating roof

I have a 30 Sq. Existing roof that is composed of 2x6 tongue and groove (ceiling on inside), 3/4’ sheathing, felt paper and comp roof. Want to remove the existing comp. and install a 26 gauge r panel metal roof. What is the best way to insulate on top of sheathing before installing metal roof. Have looked at spray foam, insulation with foil face, CIP panels(expensive) and radiant barrier. I cannot find a solid solution for this. Your expertise is needed.

Where is the home (i.e. climate zone)?
