TOPIC: I Have An Existing Metal Roof and Have A Question

Condensation in light fixtures

Return to I Have An Existing Metal Roof and Have A Question

I recently had a metal roof put on a 16x80 mobile home over shingles. Now I'm getting condensation in my light fixtures. I have noticed my air conditioning unit is removing a lot of moisture from home. Any suggestions on what I can do to solve this.

It sounds like your home has little or nor attic ventilation and also perhaps no vapor barrier between the living space and the attic. Is there a way to add ventilation? Reduce moisture inside the living space? Keep the air moving inside the home such as with your HVAC fan and/or ceiling fans?
