I have a 2.5 / 12 slope roof,,panels are 16" wide, 1" high ribs,,screw down on panels, fasteners are hidden by the overlapping panel,,no clips used,,.no exposed fasteners,.I am using synthetic underlayment,,do i need to use a double layer of the under derlayment ,or is a single layer acceptable?

Make sure that you use underlayment as required by local building code and also as required by the panel manufacturer. Generally, though, it sounds like a single layer will be fine. Todd Miller
