Flashing at multiple trim transitions

Return to Installation

Return to Forum

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had advice for the proper way to lap and flash the transition in the picture. Specifically, it's an inside gambrel break, hip cap, dormer end wall, and rake trim all converge (there is something laying in the picture, as I was laying it out to better visualize how things should lap). Thanks in advance for any help!

I put my counter flash in the rake board to start with and run my ridge vent further up into the roof deck. Eric Novotny
