Sirs: I dont' know if we can mention brands on this board -- If we can, who are some good names in not only ridge vents, but really all types of vents, including mechanically driven exhaust fans, etc.? There are numerous manufacturers of such products. Really, the best thing to do is to find the type of ventilation which will work best with your home and which can be incorporated with your home's roof and other design features. I strongly suggest taking these questions up with individual roofing and venting manufacturers. In some cases, metal roofing manufacturers offer venting that matches their roofing.
