Gable Trim Issues

Return to Installation

Return to Forum

My barn roof is 4 inches out of square. On the left side of the barn the eave is 4 inches short. On the right side the ridge is 4 inches long. My roof is an exposed fastener panel. On the gable ends my gable trim will not be over a full length rib on the right side. On the left side my gable trim is to wide to go over a full length rib. The trim would crossover a rib. Should I just fur out my gable ends to make my building square? Also I did install my panels square with the building. I am attaching a drawing of what my roof looks like. Thank You

For aesthetics, I would try to square things up. Todd Miller
