I will be installing galvalume roofing on my mobile home after removing the 15 year old shingles. The width is 42' 7 1/2" square with 13' 7 1/2" to peak. The 36'' panels will cover the 42', guide says 1/8" inset from gable end which leaves the 7 1/4". How do I handle the last panel? Is there custom gable flashing? If I cut an extra panel, the ridge would be beyond the gable end.

Yes, your roofing supplier should be able to easily help detail this out and provide any flashings or trims that you need. Not to put it a bluntly, but, if they can't, then I would find a different supplier because chances are the current one will have other short comings as well.

The professional supplier should provide flashings or trims.
