What is the easiest quickest and least expensive way to prevent bats from coming into attic by flying under the ridgecap in the valleys where the cap meets the metal roofing?

There should be a closure there, either foam or metal depending upon the exact design and whether you're trying to vent the attic that way.

+1 Depending on the system and panel profile, there would have been either a factory type closure or at leas some screening to be installed.
