Would like to install snap lock roof panels of 1 x 6 v-joint pine roof decking. A 12' portion is over a covered patio with the bottom side of the roof decking exposed. This will limit the depth of the fastener to no more than 5/8". Is this acceptable, and if so what is the recommended fastener and spacing for roof clips? Design wind speed for this area is max 90 mph.

Steve, Best place to start would be the panel/coil manufacturer. They should have a complete installation guideline for said applications and wind ratings. Eric Novotny
