I am trying to find the make and model of these panels, and if they are available in Nor Cal? Alcoa? Any help is appreciated.

This is the Rustic Shingle product line, currently produced by Classic Metal Roofing Systems. https://www.classicmetalroofingsystems.com/product-info/styles/rustic-shingle/ Todd Miller

What caused the damage to the Rustic Shingle? What is the thickness of the shingle? We are considering this product, but in light of the damage shown in the picture would a stone coated steel be better?

That is definitely from foreign object strike and one of some significance. Anything that is going to tear through steel like that is going to critically damage any roof panel on the market. Stone coated steel would likely have fared no better here and certainly not any better that would have prevented the panel from requiring replacement. Eric Novotny

The product in the picture is aluminum, right?

Thanks for the catch. Aluminum or steel here, coated or not, still going to be damaged beyond repair. Eric Novotny
