Installation On Top of Composite ...: "I am in the process of buying a home with ..." - Guest User (8/14/2014) | Installation

I am in the process of buying a home with a metal roof. The home inspector said that the roof did not have flashing properly installed, the seams were just caulked, and the flashing needed to be installed. The attachment contains a response that we received from the seller, that appears to have been written by the installer. Could you tell me if what is stated here should give me pause or reassure me that the roof is ok? Thank you.
