Other than appearance, are there benefits one way or the other of, using hidden fasteners vs exposed fasteners?

Ward, Thanks for the question. A couple of benefits of concealed fastened come to mind - 1) concealed fasteners do not represent leak opportunities, and 2) some concealed fastened panels use clips that can accommodate thermal expansion and contraction. Regards, David Stermer
