Would like to install Galv. roofing on a storage building. Never installed this material. The roofing I would like to use is vertial panels with "M" shaped formations on each side. My question is, how should these panels be overlapped on the sides and what nailing pattern should be used at the overlaps and elsewhere. Any help would be appreciated.

The product you are talking about is called 5V Crimp. If at all possible, please track down instructions form the manufacturer of the roofing you're buying before you start the installation and preferably before you even buy the product. Other than that, the following companies (both, I'm sorry to say, not members of the MRA) include detailed installation instructions for 5V Crimp on their websites: www.fabral.com www.mtlsales.com Todd Miller
