What is your opinion of metal roof coatings on a sloped roof? Is it a viable method for eliminating leaks?

It probably will not be a good long term solution Todd Miller

There are some coatings that we have used on flat roof applications that have life cycle tests on them that indicate 10 year increments. What is leaking on the roof and can that be repaired? Eric Novotny

Finding the leak has been the difficulty. We had the flat roofs "redone" but the leaks continued, so the next theory is where the slopes meet - ie the dormers. Chasing leaks is always a mystery.

Try to get someone out there with an IR camera and that will help narrow the searching. Eric Novotny
