I'm having trouble getting a clean look on my ridges where they intersect with another roof-something must be wrong with the way I do the valleys where they join under the ridge. Best way to do???

This could have to do with the way the roof is framed. Maintaining a perfectly straight line may be impossible.
The exact installation procedure is based upon what type of roofing you're installing. I do not know if you are installing a shingle style product, sheet roofing, or standing seam.
My best advice, as usual, though I sound like a broken record to those who follow this website closely, is to check with the manufacturer of the roofing.
