Pressure treated Purlins

I am building a weekend cottage and am going to be decking it over with PT and installing felt and 1X4 PT purlins and white metal roofing. Will the typical supplied fastners be ok for the pressure treated? If not what should I be looking for? I am also looking for a screw application for high wind area do you know where I could look? Thanks John

Treated lumber purlins should not be used due to the risk of causing corrosion on the metal. Fastening patterns and load tables must be obtained from the manufacturer of the roofing you're installing. I hope this helps.

+1 PT + Galvanized metal = corrosion Use untreated lumber or they do make plastic batten strips as well.
