I am an Australian recently moved to Nth California. I wish to build a small 10*15 shed with a bullnose corrugated metal roof similar to the colonial style back home. I was told by a local manufacturer that I would have to pay a significant set up fee to bend the sheets. Where can I access such a small quantity of bullnosed corrugated metal roof at a reasonable cost?

Well my experience in California shows that there is not such a thing as reasonable cost anything except our roofing materials. The only bull nose corrigated that I know about is still being made in PA from 100 year old dies but I doubt that it is reasonable in such a small quantity. I would suggest going to a box store and buying some agricultural panel with a foaam closure strip to seal the eaves and if you want to keep it cool buy white and a vented eaves strip, but down under their metal roofing industry is much more mature than here. Good luck.

As soon as I read your subject line, I knew there had to be an Aussie connection! I love the bullnose roofing used in Australia. Unfortunately, I do not know of anyone making it here in the states. The closest thing I know of would be www.flolinesystems.com Good luck. You can also do an internet search for "curved metal roofing"

Go to our member manufacturers page, choose one that manufacturers the type of product you are looking for and contact them. I'm sure they will be pleased to send you information or possibly you can get it by connecting to thelink to their web site.
