minimum slope for a standing seam

Need some help. I'm dealing with a roof design and an architect, he wants to design a standing seam metal roof for a 1:12 roof, and we are trying to see if there is a building code or standard that tell us the minimum slope for a standing seam metal roof, is it has to do with the rib height, the gutter size, counter flashing designs? Thanks in advance.

The minimum required pitch for various standing seam and other roofing products is specified by the manufacturer and based upon product design, seam height, etc. There are standing seam roofs that can be used on pitches as low as 1/4:12. Todd Miller
