CONCERN ABOUT METAL ROOF WARRANTY (COLOR FINISH) THE HOME IS ABOUT 200 FT FROM SALT WATER. DOES THIS HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE METAL ROOF WARRANTY? IF SO WHAT PRODUCT OR FINISH WILL HELP TO GET A MINIMUM 30 PRODUCT WARRANTY THX ROB OWENS

Each manufacturer has their own guidelines on warranty preclusion. You will need to research this on a per roof manufacturer basis. Eric Novotny

I do not believe you will find any steel, aluminum, or zinc product warranted for this application. If you need a product warranty I would suggest investigating copper and stainless steel, and perhaps titanium. Todd Miller

From your answer it appears you work with a roof supplier. If so is there another roof product that will would be better suited. Example cement tile that would also take extremely high winds. Thx Rob
