Where do i start laying my metal sheet's at on a hip roof? Snap a line at center line, or work from the end? Thank you for your help. Mark

Mark, Depends on the type of metal roofing. In any case you are safest to start from the end. Many metal roofing panels are designed to be lapped in one direction. These MUST be installed from the end. A few types of sheets can be lapped in either direction. These could start from the middle, although there isn't a huge advantage doing it this way in most cases.

Thank you Nate. I would have figured that out on the second or third sheet after a couple head scratches and some @^$#@! Thank you again, Mark
