Seeking advice- Want to have metal roof installed on small cabin. We do not use the cabin Nov-April what do I need to ask the contractor about venting and ice accumulation-or is it not an issue due to not using the cabin in the winter>

If the heat is not being run and there is no humidity generated as a result of occupancy, you should not have any condensation issues. If you are running the heat, even at a low temperature, there is a potential for condensation if the temperatures of the surface get low enough. Eric Novotny
