Is this gambrel roof a good candidate for a metal roof?

We just purchased a home that needs a new roof and are considering a metal standing seam roof. We have one major concern - the bottom of the roofline has a bend to it. Is there a metal roof company - or a style of metal roof - that would best fit this kind of roof profile? Our building contractor has shown us literature from Metal Sales, Drexel Metals and Fabral. The Drexel Metal material is sold by the local supplier and they will come to the site with a truck to custom cut the pieces for the roof. Would really appreciate some help with what to go with. We meet tomorrow with the builder, and have to discuss what to do with that bottom bend. Would it be better to stick with asphalt shingles? Hope to hear from you soon. Picture of roof is attached.

That is a very subtle pitch change at the bottom and the lower rafter is very short. It could be done with vertical seam panels but frankly could probably be best done with some of the metal shingle type panels. Todd Miller
