Hi I am putting a metal roof over new trusses. The top cord length is 11' 5 10/16". I will install a fascia board with drip edge. Do I add the 3/4" for fascia and the drip edge ( I don't know what the drip edge is) to the length? I am assuming so but I also don't know what to leave at the top for ventillation. Is every company different and if so how do I get the proper measurement to order the product?

There will be differences based upon what type of accessories are used with the system you're buying. Residential quality metal roofs will include pre-formed accessories. Please contact your roofing manufacturer to inquire about these accessories, their dimensions, etc. Todd Miller
