We recently had a standing seam metal roof installed on our newly constructed home and the roof is leaking. We have a heat system exhaust vent going through the roof and it has been sealed but I look up into the hole where the vent goes through the roof and I can see the rain water coming out of the seam they cut through to install the exhuast vent. It only leaks in a really heavy downpour. How can this leak be stopped?

Sealing a standing seam roof can be tricky sometimes. How was your roof sealed at that flue penetration?
