TOPIC: Standing Seam roof

I have standing seam roof, and was really surprised when I looked closer and there was a screw used to hold metal down. Its a spot where there is a odd transition I guess. Is this normal. I have three of these cases for my roof. Two times he used screw, one time he did not. See attached picture. Is this normal, or will it cause problems.

Probably best to dab a bit of silicon on it but it should be okay after that. Eric Novotny
