Hello,
I have a standing seam zinc roof with a stone veneered chimney. It seems the mortar has leeched calcium onto my roof and I am having trouble removing it. Any pointers?

Any sort of mild acid should help break down the calcium.
You can start first with vinegar (acetic acid) and see if that cleans it up.
I would be careful with anything more caustic as you run the risk of etching the panel and removing some of the coating on the finish of the panel.
Regardless of what you use, it is best to neutralize the solution and area when you are done to cease the reaction. Baking soda is just as good as anything.
