I am building a leanto against my garage, the pitch will be 3-12 with a span of 16' from garage to eve end. On my garage the trusses are 4' apart with 2x4's as fir strips for the corrugated panals. I was going to use 2x10's every two feet for my rafters, but I was wondering if I am better to sheat with something like osb or stick with fir strips and what underlayment do you perfer, the salesman was saying the new thing is that bubble wrap? Or do you guys have a better suggestions for the rafters or anything..... thanks

Most bubble wraps are not approved as underlayment. There are many good synthetic underlayments available though. I would suggest solid decking such as OSB or plywood. Todd Miller
