I am stripping my roof to the barewood and applying new architectural shingles. I have a round brick chimney and I need to know the best way to flash around it.

This is always a challenge. First of all, I would use a lot of ice and watershield and bring it up around the chimney. Then I would sawcut a reglet into the chimney to receive the flashing. Curve the flashing pieces as best you can but overlap and seal as needed. Todd Miller
