In my remodel, my contractor is attempting to install flashing behind existing siding and screw it down to the ridges of the metal roof. Where the corners of the flashing extend out over any ridges, he is screwing it down to the roof. This is his second time trying to make it look right, but the flashing line is still wavy and unattractive to my unschooled eye. Is there something he is doing incorrectly, or is this the best I can expect?

Jerome,
If it is unattractive then it is probably an incorrect installation. I would need to know what type of metal panel and what he is using for a flashing. Some times a roofer will go to a lumber yard and buy a 4x4 or 6x6 galvanized metal and try to use it for a flashing, this is incorrect and incompatible.
