Snow Blocs on a Gambrel | Ask The Experts Forum

Robert Siewert 9/15/2009	We are going to install Snow Blocs on our new barn. It is a gambrell style with a 4/12 on top with the lower at 21/12. Each run is 12' and the length is 38'. How many blocs should I install and at what intervals. We used the standard R-style metal roofing with 9" in between the large ribs and 1.5" between the small ribs. Todd Miller Isaiah Industries, Inc. 9/20/2009	The snowguard manufacturers will have recommendations but my suggestion is one guard between each of the larger ribs.
