Our cottage has a low pitch roof, its one inch to twelve inch pitch. The cottage has two separate roofs, one roof is 30' x 20' & the other roof is 20' x 24'. We get ice back up in the winter, which leaks in the cottage. We used two rows of weather shield which covers 72" wide & on top of that we used rolled roofing. We still get ice back up. Have inquired about a metal roof, but the pitch is too low. What can we do?

A mechanically seamed standing seam could be used on this pitch. The other option would be a vinyl or rubber membrane. Todd Miller
