We hada metal roof installed by who we thought was an expert, but, one problem we are having is the overhang on the metal is 2 inches and water goes right over the gutter. Besides tearing off the 5 inch gutter and installin 6 inch, or putting a flashing on top of the gutter, can the endif the roof becut ack to 1 inch to help flow the water in the gutter? We have a 2 1/2 inch pitch on the roof.
