We have a z-clip 24 ga. closure strip specified in detail running perpendicular to the profile of a type "R" panel. This is supposed to be in the shape of the standard neoprene closures usually installed, tthe roofing consultant says it exists,we can find nothing on this type of closure. Please advise.

I am not 100% certain what you're seeking but it sounds like you need a Z Closure, probably at the top of the roof beneath the ridge cap (?) Normally, this would be available form the roofing manufacturer or it can be bent on the job site from matching coil or flat stock. Call me if this doesn't help -- 1-800-543-8938 ext 201 Todd Miller Todd Miller

Steven, Oops -- I just read your Subject line of Eave Closures. If you're looking for a metal closure for the eave end of the ribs, I would say that I do not know of anyone offering those as a standard item. I have seen people trim the panels at the bottom end and leave an excess flap of metal which can be folded over the rib opening. Other than that, if you're looking for a metal closure, it will probably have to be custom made. Again, feel free to call me if you'd like to discuss this further. Todd Miller
